The role requires strong analytical skills, solid knowledge of commercial claims, and the ability to manage a portfolio of mid-to-high complexity claims with independent judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; JD is a plus.
• Typically minimum four years of relevant experience in claim handling.
• Must have or obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire.
• Professional designations are a plus (e.g. CPCU).

Responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of moderate to high complexity commercial claims per guidelines.
• Verify coverage, conduct investigations, and set reserves.
• Negotiate settlements and coordinate with experts and counsel.
• Provide exceptional customer service to insureds and claimants.
• Mentor less experienced claim professionals as needed.
