CNA seeks a Complex Claims Specialist to handle accountants and accounting firms nationwide. You will manage mid-to-high complexity commercial claims, assess coverage, liability and damages, and set reserves under defined authority.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of commercial insurance policy language, coverage and claim practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers, claimants and management.
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage moderate to high complexity commercial claims with defined authority.
• Verify coverage, establish reserves, and conduct investigations.
• Determine compensability, liability and damages with supporting documentation.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and escalate as needed.
• Mentor/coach less experienced claim professionals.
