Job summary

CRC Group in the United States is seeking a Complex Claims Manager to lead handling of complex Construction Defect claims, overseeing investigations, evaluations, and resolution within authority limits. The role also requires mentoring staff and coordinating with legal counsel, brokers, and insured clients while ensuring regulatory compliance. A license is required; CPCU/AIC preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with regular 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in complex Construction Defect claims.
• Experience with litigation management and settlement negotiation.
• Adjuster license required; CPCU or AIC preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, assess, and resolve complex or high-exposure Construction Defect claims within authority limits.
• Conduct comprehensive coverage analysis and determine liability exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits and in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise to less experienced claims staff.
• Collaborate with legal counsel, brokers, and insured clients to ensure proper claim resolution.
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Prepare and present reports on claim status, trends, and risk exposure to management.

The Complex Claims Manager manages complex Construction Defect claims processes, including investigating, evaluating, and resolving high-severity claims in compliance with company standards and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS
