Job summary

Tufts Medicine's MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking an RN for Complex Care. The role delivers direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, assessing and planning patient care within a complex care area. It requires Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and a strong critical care background.

36 hours per week with days/evenings; call required. Join a team focused on evidence-based practice, professional development, and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Department specific certifications may be required.
• Experience based on level I-IV.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Strong critical care background.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops and evaluates patient care plans.
• Uses nursing judgment to tailor the plan of care.
• Manages patient assignment and collaborates with the team.
• Prepares comprehensive discharge planning.
• Supports staff development and precepting.
• Engages in departmental committees as needed.
