Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) invites applications for a Spring/Summer Intern/Co-op in Austin, TX or Boxborough, MA. You will join an engineering team to work on a compiler for the P4 language targeting AMD’s ASIC family, contributing to build and development using LLVM and P4C, and collaborating with the ASIC team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based University in a Master’s program in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Proficient in object-oriented languages, with a preference for C++.
• Experience or coursework in compilers, data structures, and programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Work on a compiler for the P4 language targeting a domain-specific architecture in AMD ASICs.
• Contribute to the build and development of the compiler using LLVM and P4C.
• Collaborate with compiler customers and the dedicated ASIC team and receive mentorship from senior engineers.
