Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking motivated interns/co-ops to join the AI/processor engineering team in the US. You will work on a P4 compiler targeting AMD's ASICs, building in LLVM and P4C, and collaborating with customers and the ASIC groups to deliver real-world results.

You will be mentored by senior engineers, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to impactful projects across multiple sites in a hybrid or onsite setup.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in object-oriented languages, with a preference for C++.
• Coursework or experience in compilers, data structures, and programming languages.
• Familiar with GitHub and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Work on a compiler for the P4 language targeting a domain-specific architecture implemented in AMD's ASICs.
• Contribute to the build and development of the compiler using LLVM and P4C.
• Collaborate with compiler customers and the dedicated ASIC team building the target ASICs.
