Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is seeking an intern/co-op in the United States for a Spring/Summer term, with locations in Austin, TX or Boxborough, MA, and Fort Collins, CO.

The role involves full-time, hybrid or onsite work, and focuses on compiler development for P4 targeting ASIC architectures. Applicants should be enrolled in a US master’s program in CS/CE/EE, have strong C++ skills, and familiarity with compilers, data structures, and programming languages.

Formación

• Enrolled in a US-based university in a Master's program (CS/CE/EE or related).
• Proficient in object-oriented languages, with preference for C++.
• Coursework or experience in compilers, data structures, and programming languages.
• Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Work on a compiler for the P4 language targeting a domain-specific architecture implemented in our family of ASICs.
• Contribute to the build and development of the compiler, based on LLVM and P4C.
• Collaborate with compiler customers and the dedicated ASIC team building the target ASICs.
• Receive mentorship from senior engineers to improve skills.
