The role focuses on informing Medical Affairs leadership with insights from clinical development, regulatory strategy, and conference activity through strong industry networks.

Qualifications

• Significant oncology experience, ideally within breast cancer.
• Demonstrated competitive intelligence and landscape assessment experience in pharma/biotech.
• Strong understanding of clinical development and regulatory strategy.
• Established oncology/pharma network with major conference intelligence experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into the competitor’s clinical development program, regulatory trajectory, and potential commercialization timeline.
• Monitor public sources for changes in clinical timelines, study status, endpoints, milestones, and potential data readouts.
• Identify upcoming publications, abstracts, presentations, and conference activity, including SABCS or other oncology conferences.
• Leverage professional networks to supplement publicly available competitive intelligence, where appropriate and compliant.
• Analyze findings and translate competitive intelligence into actionable insights for Medical Affairs leadership.

Summary: This consultant will provide strategic competitive intelligence and analysis to help inform Medical Affairs leadership on an emerging competitor in the breast cancer market.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research into the competitor’s clinical development program, regulatory trajectory, and potential commercialization timeline.
• Monitor public sources for changes in clinical timelines, study status, endpoints, milestones, and potential data readouts.

• Analyze findings and translate competitive intelligence into actionable insights and informed estimates around potential regulatory and commercial milestones for Medical Affairs leadership.

Qualifications:

• Significant oncology experience, ideally within breast cancer.
• Demonstrated competitive intelligence and landscape assessment experience experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong understanding of clinical development and regulatory strategy, with the ability to interpret clinical and regulatory data.
• Established oncology/pharma network with experience gathering intelligence at major medical conferences.
