Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Director of Competitive & Strategic Insights, Oncology Lead to drive global competitive intelligence with a US focus, spanning preclinical to late clinical oncology assets.

You will partner with asset strategy teams, inform target product profiles and go/no go decisions, track competitor safety and efficacy, develop CI plans, and deliver timely insights to senior management across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health/life sciences required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–9 years pharma/biotech with 3–5+ years CI or market research in pharma/biotech.
• Experience in US and multiple regions preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with understanding of R&D.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Inform clinical target product profile and go/no go decisions.
• Track safety & efficacy data of competitors and evolving standard of care.
• Develop CI plans and ensure timely delivery with robust methodology.
• Create strategic partnerships with internal CI beneficiaries and resources.
• Communicate competitive intelligence in a timely and actionable manner.
• Maintain CI tools and content repositories for strategies.
