The role requires synthesizing data from analyst research, customer feedback, partner input, and internal sources to deliver actionable insights and ready-to-use content that sharpens Ciena's differentiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• MBA or equivalent business degree is a plus.
• Relevant experience in competitive intelligence or related roles in networking/data center industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive competitive analysis of ITDC solutions and identify market threats.
• Monitor competitor activity and assess impact on Ciena's business.
• Provide strategic and tactical CI support to Sales, Marketing, and R&D.
• Ensure messaging aligns with product and business value propositions.
• Deliver CI content, assets, briefings, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support major launches and industry events with competitive insights.
• Create actionable insights and maintain accessible CI output.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable decision-making.
