Job summary

Johnson Matthey is seeking a Competency Coordinator to oversee training and competency management for operations personnel. You will coordinate inductions, develop training plans, and ensure safety and quality competencies across production teams.

Role emphasizes collaboration with Production, HR, and Technical L&D to deliver robust shop floor training and adherence to EHS policies, while maintaining training matrices and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Technical degree and manufacturing environment exposure preferred.
• IT literacy and ability to learn new software systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Power BI.
• Good level of both written and verbal English to ensure quality recording and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan the induction process for new operations personnel and organize initial training with production, HR, and Technical L&D teams.
• Write/co-ordinate training plans and assessments to ensure safety and quality critical processes have defined competencies.
