Job summary

Johnson Matthey Inc. seeks a Competency Coordinator to oversee competency management, induction for new operations personnel, and structured training to ensure safe, compliant production. You will develop training plans and coordinate assessments while maintaining SOPs and high‑risk documentation.

The role collaborates with production, HR and Technical L&D teams to continuously improve competency outcomes, with JMPS tools and Power Apps integration.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in a related field (desirable).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Power BI.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan induction process for new operations personnel and coordinate initial training with production, HR and Technical L&D teams.
• Write/coordinate training plans, assessments and assurance checks ensuring safety and quality processes have defined competencies.
