South Texas College is seeking a Specialist - Compensation to assist the Compensation and Payroll Manager with development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs. The role involves researching salary grades, analyzing data, and preparing reports while ensuring compliance with HR laws and college policies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, 2+ years of experience, and strong Excel/Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources Management, or related field.
• At least two (2) years of relevant professional work experience.
• At least three (3) years of experience in human resources, compensation administration, financial analysis or accounting, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Compensation and Payroll Manager with development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
• Researches and analyzes compensation and related HR issues.
• Maintains and updates standard procedures for compensation actions and surveys.
