Job summary

South Texas College is seeking a Compensation Analyst to assist the Compensation and Payroll Manager in developing and administering pay programs across the college. The role involves applying rules, regulations, policies, and surveys to determine appropriate salary grades and to support college staffing and pay plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or HR-related field, 2+ years of relevant experience, and strong Excel and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Human Resources Management, or related field required.
• At least two (2) years of relevant professional work experience required.
• At least three (3) years of experience in human resources, compensation administration, financial analysis or accounting, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists Compensation and Payroll Manager with development and administration of compensation programs.
• Interprets rules, regulations, policies, and surveys related to compensation.
• Researches and analyzes salary grades and market competitiveness.
