Role

We are looking for a Compensation Associate that is passionate about executive compensation and broad-based compensation. This role requires technical competencies, strong project management skills, and strong quantitative skills to support complex, global projects.

Responsibilities

Executive compensation responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation of materials for Board Committee meetings
  • Research executive compensation trends, best practices and regulatory developments
  • Gather and help prepare relevant regulatory filings and reporting information such as the CD&A section of the proxy statement

Broad-based compensation responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and administer compensation programs and processes, such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives, job leveling, market benchmarking and year-end compensation review
  • Provide compensation consultation to HRBPs regarding compensation programs and policies
  • Conduct advanced reporting and modeling to ensure compensation aligns with existing philosophy and guidelines
  • Review and edit compensation education materials for employees or managers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree; concentration in analytical field such as finance, accounting or economics preferred
  • 3+ years of compensation experience, compensation consulting experience a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong project management, planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced skill and knowledge of market benchmarking and survey leveling structure
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a global team environment
  • Experience with Workday is preferred, experience with Beqom a plus

This is a full-time, hybrid position located in New York.

The base pay range for this role is $61,800 - $103,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
