Job summary

Tulane University in New Orleans seeks a Compensation Manager to oversee daily operations of staff compensation and act as a subject-matter expert for the HR team. You will delegate tasks, drive efficiency, and lead compensation projects while providing high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders.

In this role you will supervise a team, maintain confidentiality, and prepare reports and presentations. Experience with Oracle Cloud/JDXpert and CCP certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of progressive experience in compensation.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud and JDXpert.
• Experience in higher education or another complex organization preferred.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of staff compensation processes.
• Act as internal knowledge expert and lead for designated staff.
• Delegate and check work to ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead compensation operations and projects as needed.
• Represent compensation function to internal and external constituents.
• Assist Director and assume day-to-day management in absence of leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and presentations on compensation data.
• Maintain confidentiality in all compensation activities.
• Ensure compliance with compensation regulatory standards such as FLSA.
