Job description

We are seeking a Compensation Manager to lead the evaluation, development, and implementation of compensation structures across our organization. This role will be instrumental in managing the annual compensation planning cycle, and ensuring our compensation programs are competitive and aligned with our compensation philosophy. The Compensation Manager will be a key member of the Total Rewards team and collaborate closely with HR, finance, and our HRIS team.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of broad-based compensation experience, including base pay, incentive plans, and variable pay components.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining compensation tools and software (preferably Workday).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other data-analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws related to compensation.
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.
  • Experience in a professional services or advisory role preferred.
  • International compensation experience preferred (India).
What You'll Do:
  • Compensation Strategy & Planning:
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of compensation plans, programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the annual compensation pay planning cycle, including merit increases, bonuses, and equity awards.
  • Evaluate and analyze salary data to determine pay grades and ensure competitive pay structures.
  • HCM System Management:
  • Drive the development and maintenance of compensation functionalities within HCM systems (e.g., Workday).
  • Collaborate with HRIS and payroll to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Job Evaluation & Market Analysis:
  • Own and maintain our salary structure, job grades, and levelling practices.
  • Conduct job evaluations and recommend appropriate compensation mixes in line with the company's pay philosophy.
  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze market data to inform compensation decisions.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Partner with our HRBPs and Talent Acquisition to identify compensation strategies for new roles.
  • Manage our incentive programs and employee-facing compensation materials, building transparency and understanding of our compensation practices.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal employment and labor laws related to compensation practices.
  • Prepare reports and analyses on compensation practices to identify gaps and future needs.
The expected pay range for this position is $116,000 - $176,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible). This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; location and other business and organizational needs; and applicable laws.
