Job summary

HuFriedyGroup is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Analyst to research, analyze, and maintain the organization’s pay structure and benefits programs. You will study wage data, monitor market conditions, and partner with benefits vendors while educating employees and HR teammates on compensation plans.

The role ensures regulatory compliance, prepares management reports, and supports annual salary planning and enrollment processes to optimize our total rewards program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of relevant HR experience, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of compensation and benefits principles and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development and implementation of compensation and benefits strategies, including salary structures, incentive plans, and benefits programs.
• Develops and maintains job descriptions, evaluates job classifications, and determines salary ranges.
• Ensures data is correct in the HRIS system and prepares reports and presentations for management.
• Conducts market research, participates in salary surveys, and analyzes benchmarks to ensure competitiveness.
• Administers benefits and wellness plans, including health, welfare, retirement, and leave administration.
• Creates and monitors benefits data files and exception reports, including life events and payroll deductions.
• Maintains processes and procedures documents and builds relationships with benefit vendors.
• Assists with annual programs like incentive management, salary planning, and enrollment.
