Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking an HR Generalist to act as the face of HR across the organization, interfacing with all departments to drive efficiency and engagement. You will oversee employee relations, compensation and benefits programs and contribute to strategic talent initiatives.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to ensure total rewards are competitive and aligned with business goals while maintaining compliance with employment laws and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience including employee relations, compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee employee relations activities and policies; implement ethics and wellness programs.
• Develop and manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and alignment with budgets.
• Communicate changes in benefit programs; oversee open enrollment and partner with benefits providers.

About the Role

This individual will serve as the face of Maverick Power to our internal customers and interface with all departments to develop and deliver human resources policies and procedures that drive operational efficiency and engagement You will be responsible for overseeing the organizations employee relations compensation and benefits programs Includes developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain top talent as well as managing the budget for these programs Works closely with senior leadership and other HR team members to ensure that the organizations total rewards packages are competitive and aligned with business goals

Key Responsibilities

• Employee RelationsOversee employee relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling and interpretation of policiesResponsible for launching an ethics reporting tool investigating workplace situations and creating a program around employee wellness and engagementImprove HR policies to improve team relationships and oversee management of controversial and sensitive staff issues Partners with human resources business partners on corrective actions and performance issuesSupport multiple locations with DOL Labor Laws o Partner with safety team on incident reports and workers compensation o Responsible for conducting exit interviews
• CompensationAssists with the operational management of reward opportunities available to employees that align with the organizations goals budgets and expectationsReview and analyze wage and salary reports and data to establish competitive compensation plansResponsible for establishing and launching Maverick Powers Total Rewards Program and compensation strategy and philosophy
• BenefitsResearch benefits offerings and recommend options to stay competitive in the workplaceResponsible for communicating changes in benefit programs to employees including open enrollment schedulesResponsible for overseeing partnership with our benefits provider

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience including a combination of employee relations compensation and benefits
• Bachelors degree or the equivalent years of experience in Human Resources or related field
• Thorough understanding of human resources principles and practices including employment law
• Affinity Action and EEO compliance and employee relations
• Thorough understanding of Total Reward Programs and Benefits to employees

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to twenty five pounds at times

Work Environment

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities in offices in multiple shops and in commercial buildings Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods
