Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Compensation Analyst II to join the HR Compensation team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, Nebraska with a hybrid schedule. You will administer Workday compensation processes, maintain job architecture and data, and support annual compensation activities across locations.

The role partners with Payroll, People Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to ensure programs are accurate and compliant, performing data audits and preparing reports to enable leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business (preferred)
• Three years of experience as a Compensation Specialist
• Ability to partner with leadership and stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor legislation
• Exceptional communication skills and data handling

Responsibilities

• Administer Workday compensation-related processes and transactions.
• Maintain data and job architecture, including profiles and eligibility rules.
• Support annual compensation planning with system administration and audits.
• Monitor Workday inquiries and resolve issues.
• Perform data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Payroll, People Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition.
• Develop documentation and identify automation opportunities.
