Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Jersey City seeks an Associate to join our Compensation team, supporting the compensation agenda for key businesses within the Corporate and Investment Bank. You will guide line and HR management on compensation actions, administer annual planning processes, and analyze market data.

This role partners with HRBPs and Finance, evaluates offers and promotions, supports budgeting, and conducts benchmarking surveys to inform compensation decisions.

Qualifications

• 3 years of HR/Compensation or Finance experience.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft or Business Objects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end compensation planning and administrative support for annual processes across multiple lines of business.
• Evaluate and support compensation activities, partnering with Recruiting on offers, promotions, transfers, budgeting and retention.
• Participate in compensation surveys; analyze benchmarking data to support needs.
• Provide strategic compensation recommendations for projects, policy changes, and systems development.
• Act as SME on reporting tools and deliver accurate reporting to clients.
• Help simplify processes with fresh ideas to align with strategy and best practice.
