Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Compensation Associate to support strategy and execution across Firmwide functions. The role involves market analysis, advisory, regulatory support and project delivery within the Technology, Product and Data Compensation team.

You will collaborate with HR Business Advisors to provide analytical insights, support decision-making, and contribute to key compensation initiatives while maintaining a focus on accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in HR, Compensation, Finance or related analytical discipline.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to build partnerships and manage stakeholders across levels.
• Good organizational and project management skills with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support compensation activities across the employee lifecycle, including offers, promotions and budgeting.
• Conduct analyses to identify trends and inform data-driven decisions.
• Prepare compensation models, presentations and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Partner with HR to provide guidance on compensation practices and programs.
• Support the review and enhancement of compensation policies and governance.
• Monitor market trends and benchmarking to support competitive programs.
• Assist in annual compensation planning and year-end processes.
• Contribute to projects like process improvements and reporting enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency through reporting and tech.
