Job summary

Prime Controls is seeking a Compensation Analyst to lead pricing, pay structure, and job architecture for a 1,500-person workforce across Texas and other locations. The role focuses on benchmarking, developing salary ranges, and maintaining job taxonomy using existing systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in compensation analysis, strong Excel skills, and experience with market data surveys. This is a full-time role based in Texas with opportunities for impact across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in compensation analysis or HR analytics.
• Strong Excel skills: pivot tables, lookup functions, and complex formulas.
• Experience with compensation survey tools (ERI, Mercer, Radford, or similar).
• Experience building or maintaining job architecture, leveling, or job family frameworks.
• Ability to translate data into clear recommendations for non-HR audiences (operations leaders, executives).

Responsibilities

• Benchmark roles against external market data and adjust pay bands.
• Develop salary ranges aligned to job families and internal equity.
• Maintain job title taxonomy and support leveling decisions.
• Produce compensation analyses and executive-ready reports.
• Collaborate with HR and IT to ensure data accuracy in the HRIS.
• Prepare compensation materials for review by HR leadership.
• Monitor pay trends and regulatory developments affecting multi-state footprint.
