Job summary

Utica National Insurance Group is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design and administer compensation programs, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness. You'll benchmark salaries, support salary and incentive programs, and partner with HR, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to provide data-driven guidance.

Minimum 1–3+ years in compensation or related HR, plus a Bachelor's degree, with strong analytical and project management skills.

Qualifications

• This role requires 1–3+ years in compensation or HR with job evaluation and salary structures.
• Experience in salary surveys, compensation tool administration, or market tools is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a compensation role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job evaluations and classify jobs to support internal equity and external competitiveness.
• Support development and management of compensation structures and policies aligned with benchmarks.
• Participate in salary surveys and benchmark studies to keep packages competitive.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Finance, HRBP, and leaders to guide compensation decisions.
• Monitor budgets for compensation and provide data-driven reporting and insights.
• Plan and coordinate data analysis across HRIS systems and ensure data integrity.
• Lead small to mid-scale compensation projects and annual salary/merit cycles.
