Job description

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for ensuring a strong foundation for nVent’s global compensation philosophy, programs, and processes through regional or country-specific competitive compensation research and analyses. This position offers opportunities to learn and grow by applying compensation best practices, techniques, and skills.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this role, you will:

  1. Analyze nVent’s pay programs and employee pay levels against market benchmarks to ensure alignment with external factors and internal priorities.
  2. Monitor worldwide compensation-related laws and regulations, supporting compliance actions, including pay transparency, Labour Code changes, minimum wage laws, etc.
  3. Facilitate benchmarking survey processes, collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to exchange market data.
  4. Support standard compensation review processes, such as merit increases, through data preparation, system testing, analysis, and reporting.
  5. Develop and maintain compensation processes and procedures, with the capacity for ad hoc analyses.
  6. Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with HR colleagues globally.
YOU HAVE:

Academic background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7+ years in compensation roles.
  • Compensation certification is a plus.

Skills & abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with HR systems like Workday.
  • Strong research skills for regulation compliance.
  • Understanding of third-party survey participation and job benchmarking is advantageous.
  • Data-driven with high accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and collaborative.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
