Riverside Health System in Smithfield, Virginia is seeking a friendly Waitstaff member to provide residents and guests with outstanding dining service. You will follow service protocols, greet and seat guests, and ensure meals are delivered timely, accurate, and in line with dietary restrictions.

Responsibilities include coordinating with kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness, restocking, and handling tray assembly while observing safety and sanitation standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• 1 year experience in customer service in a hospitality environment (Preferred).
• Food Handlers Card and Allergen Awareness Certification within required timelines (VA).

Responsabilidades

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely, courteous manner.
• Ensure orders are prepared and served accurately and on time in collaboration with the kitchen.
• Complete opening/closing side work, restock supplies, and assemble resident trays per menu and diet restrictions.
• Operate food service software/hardware to take orders at table or bedside as applicable.
• Maintain sanitation, adhere to food safety policies, and follow all regulatory requirements.
• Assist in table setup/clearance and support dining room operations.
• Support residents’ dignity, safety, and overall dining experience.
• Practice time management and be prepared in uniform for scheduled shifts.
