Job summary

Riverside Health System in Smithfield, VA is seeking a Waitstaff team member to provide attentive dining service to residents and guests. You will work closely with the kitchen to ensure timely, accurate meals and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service in a hospitality environment (Preferred).
• Knowledge of menu options/ingredients and dietary restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests promptly; deliver meals in a timely and gracious manner.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Complete opening/closing side work; restock supplies as needed; prepare cold food as applicable.
• Utilize dining service software/hardware to take orders at table or bedside.
• Maintain proper sanitation, glove use, labeling, dating, temperature checks, and food rotation per policies.
• Assist in table setup and breakdown and support dining room operations.
