Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
• Experience with practice management software.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and vaccination protocols.
• Strong scheduling, billing, and records management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, verify and update records, and confirm appointments.
• Answer multi-line phones and manage scheduling and inquiries.
• Process payments, post charges, and explain invoices.
• Communicate medical information with compassion, including end-of-life discussions.
• Maintain EMR and data entry in PIMS.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to maintain patient flow.
• Keep reception area clean and welcoming.
