Job summary

Petco is seeking a Hospital Concierge for our Vetco Total Care location. The role focuses on delivering exceptional client and patient care, managing the front desk, coordinating appointments, and supporting the veterinary team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 1 year in veterinary or customer-facing work, strong communication, empathy, and solid telephone and computer skills. Prior practice management system experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year in veterinary practice or customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Answer the practice phone and route calls.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors and clients; notify staff of arrivals and monitor wait times.
• Assist in training new staff and share knowledge as required.
• Keep waiting area clean and stocked with required materials.
• Confirm appointments via client’s preferred method (phone, email, text).
• Provide backup support to clinical staff when rooms need to be prepared or patients discharged.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
