Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of front desk or customer service experience in a medical, dental, urgent care, or veterinary environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with active listening.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and multi-line phone systems.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software.
• Genuine affinity for animals and comfortable in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients at the front desk and confirm appointment details.
• Answer multi-line calls and direct inquiries about scheduling and services.
• Process client check-out, payments, and future appointment scheduling.
• Provide compassionate service during anxious or difficult news about a pet’s health.
• Enter data accurately and maintain records in the practice management system.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to relay messages and support daily operations.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
