You will greet clients and their pets, schedule visits, educate on preventative care, and coordinate care with the veterinary staff while promoting hospital services. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking are essential in our busy environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
• 2+ years experience in a veterinary facility desired
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Promote hospital services and recruit new clients
• Welcome clients and pets, educating on preventative care and pet health needs
• Document and enter the pet history, requested services, and other pertinent information
• Direct the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and productivity
• Answer basic questions from clients and refer to veterinary staff as needed
• Schedule client appointments and follow-up exams
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, information, and invoices
• Handle cash management including payments and daily reconciliation
• Respond to customer complaints professionally and resolve issues
• Support collaboration to deliver quality pet health care
• Comply with practice policies and standards
• Perform other duties as requested
