Mission Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to help deliver compassionate patient care and support the medical team in a busy clinic. You will assist veterinarians, technicians, and front-desk staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include patient care, scheduling and payments support, and maintaining a clean, safe clinic environment. A High School Diploma and a calm, organized mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Confidence handling pets of various sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic veterinary skills in lab, pharmacy, nursing or radiology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential patient care assisting the medical team with hands-on tasks.
• Support veterinarians and technicians to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Assist with scheduling, payments, and client communications to ensure a positive visit.
• Maintain a safe, clean hospital environment and assist with equipment upkeep.
