Mission Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team and support essential patient care. You will work closely with veterinarians and technicians to deliver compassionate, hands-on care and keep the clinic running smoothly.

In this role you’ll help with scheduling, client communications, and general clinic duties while upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety. A positive, calm demeanor is key, with strong teamwork and organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Calm, efficient approach in fast-paced environments.
• Confidence handling pets of all sizes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Fundamental veterinary skills across lab, pharmacy, nursing and radiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide Essential Patient Care: assist the medical team with hands-on care and compassionate treatment.
• Be the Go-To Support for the Medical Team: anticipate needs to ensure smooth workflow.
• Create a Positive Client Experience: assist with scheduling, payments, and communications with a courteous approach.
• Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment: maintain hospital, perform clinic upkeep and equipment maintenance.
