Job summary
Mission Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering high quality care. You'll provide essential patient care, assist veterinarians and technicians, and help ensure compassionate treatment for every animal.
You will also help with client scheduling and payments, contribute to a clean, safe hospital environment, and benefit from a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities, including AVMA-accredited technician programs.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Calm, efficient in fast-paced environments.
- Confident handling pets of all sizes.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with basic veterinary skills (lab, pharmacy, nursing, radiology).
Responsibilities
- Provide essential patient care with the medical team, showing compassion and respect for every animal.
- Be the go-to support for veterinarians and technicians to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Assist with scheduling, payments, and client communications to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain a safe, clean hospital environment with upkeep and equipment maintenance.
