Mission Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support essential patient care and be a reliable backbone for the medical team. You will assist with hands-on animal care, maintain a respectful, compassionate standard, and help ensure a smooth, coordinated clinic workflow.

Responsibilities include client-facing tasks such as scheduling and payments, plus contributing to a clean and well-organized hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced environments.
• Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide Essential Patient Care: assist the medical team with hands-on care and compassionate treatment of all animals.
• Be the Go-To Support for the Medical Team: anticipate veterinarians' and technicians' needs to ensure smooth workflow.
• Create a Positive Client Experience: assist with scheduling, payments, and communications with courtesy and clarity.
• Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment: maintain the hospital and perform equipment upkeep.
