Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join a full-service practice in a collaborative setting. You will assist the medical team with hands-on patient care, from exams through urgent and surgical procedures, while helping with client communications and scheduling.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a calm, efficient demeanor, and the ability to handle pets of various sizes.

Qualifications

• Calm and efficient approach to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets with confidence.
• Experience with basic veterinary workflows (lab, pharmacy, nursing, radiology) is a strong asset.
