Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of veterinary practice experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate, professional, and able to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, record vitals and chart in EMR.
• Assist doctors with appointments, surgeries, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Prepare patients, restrain, collect samples, dispense meds as directed.
• Schedule appointments and provide client education.
• Support anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
• Administer in-hospital treatments and fluids per veterinarian directions.
• Assist in training new staff and share knowledge.
• Maintain a clean hospital environment and schedule maintenance.
