Best Friends Veterinary Center in Grafton, WI is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team and help create exceptional experiences for clients and patients during exams and outpatient visits.

We are seeking an outgoing veterinary assistant who thrives in client engagement, schedule coordination, and multitasking, playing a key role in supporting efficient hospital operations and compassionate patient care. This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule, Monday-Saturday.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of veterinary assistant or related experience.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and patient care principles.
• Experience collecting patient histories and vital signs preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room and outpatient workflow for exceptional patient and client care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Assist veterinarians during outpatient procedures and treatments while providing high-quality patient care.
• Build positive relationships with clients through education, communication, and attentive service.
