Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a veterinary receptionist.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software (Cornerstone/Avimark/ImproMed/eVetPractice/ezyVet).
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and vaccination protocols.
• Proficiency in scheduling, multi-line phone management, medical records management, and payment processing.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to handle high-volume client relations.
• Strong verbal and written communication, active listening, and conflict resolution.
• Comfortable handling animals of varying sizes and temperaments, including fearful or reactive patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients, update records, and confirm appointments using practice management software.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system and handle inquiries about scheduling, refills, records, and information.
