Job summary

Animal Care Center of NYC welcomes you to join a busy veterinary clinic in NYC as a friendly receptionist. You will greet clients and pets, guide them through check-in and check-out, and bridge clients with veterinarians, LVTs, and social workers to ensure smooth flow and excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months of customer service or veterinary-related experience required.
• Computer literacy a must.
• You connect easily with people and pets.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the client and patient experience.
• Triage calls, schedule appointments, and contribute to the efficient flow of care.
• Process invoices and reconcile end-of-day transactions.
• Greet and admit clients and pets warmly, guide them to rooms, and help them feel confident and cared for.
• Coordinate with veterinary, nursing, and social work teams to support care.
