Job summary

The Universal Caregiver at Senior Housing Managers supports residents with daily living activities, helps with bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility, and reports changes to the supervisor. Training is provided; CPR/First Aid and Food Handler cards are required or obtained during hiring.

A high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are expected; experience with seniors is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills expected.
• CPR, First Aid and Food Handler cards required (can be obtained during hiring).
• Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required.
• 1–3 months related experience working with seniors preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, dining).
• Medication setup and administration as trained.
• Update resident records promptly per policy.
• Report changes in health or behavior to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment; assist with housekeeping and meal service.
