Job summary

Senior Housing Managers is seeking Universal Caregivers to support residents in our Assisted Living and Residential Care communities. This role emphasizes direct resident interaction, monitoring changes in health and wellbeing, and communicating observations to ensure appropriate actions.

You will help residents achieve independence while adapting to evolving needs within the facility. We value servant leadership and aim to make employees feel welcomed, prepared, and excited to care for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months experience with seniors preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and Food Handler cards (can be obtained during hiring).
• Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required; ongoing training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers).
• Medication setup and administration after training.
• Update resident records in a timely manner.
• Report changes in residents’ health or behavior to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; assist with meals and housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare and cook food per posted menus; assist with serving meals and feeding residents.
