Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dependable Transportation Aide to safely transport residents to appointments and other destinations within our skilled nursing community. You will assist with entering and exiting vehicles, provide supervision and compassionate care, and uphold patient safety during transports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 20 years of age.
• CNA certification required.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Acceptable driving record according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely to appointments and activities.
• Assist residents entering and exiting vehicles with mobility support.
• Provide attentive care and supervision during transport.
• Maintain courteous, compassionate demeanor at all times.
• Follow transportation and safety protocols to ensure resident safety.
• Communicate resident needs to nursing staff.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic safety checks.
