Charter Senior Living is seeking a dependable Driver / Transportation Assistant to safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities while delivering excellent customer service and compassionate support throughout the transportation experience.

The role also supports resident engagement by building positive relationships and assisting residents in and out of vehicles and during community activities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in transportation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable attendance and time management.
• Flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles safely and respectfully.
• Ensure resident comfort and safety during transportation.
• Follow all local, state, and company driving regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of transportation vehicles.
• Build positive relationships with residents and families.
• Communicate effectively with community leadership and team members.
• Participate in required meetings, training, and community events.
• Support resident activities and engagement as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.
