Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• 1+ year experience as courier/driver with direct customer interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company owned vehicles for first-call transfer of deceased and follows chain of custody and paperwork.
• Cooperates with first responders, Coroner, hospital staff or senior living facility and follows procedures.
• Interact with bereaved family members sensitively during home transfers and handle soiled garments per procedures.
• Enter deceased event information into proprietary software per procedures.
• Transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assist with moving caskets.
