SCI in Westlake Village, CA is seeking a Transfer Specialist to manage the care, removal, and transport of deceased individuals. The role requires driving company vehicles, complying with laws, and maintaining cleanliness and professional appearance when interacting with families.

You will collaborate with responders, coroners, hospitals, and facilities, input transfer information into our software, and support home transfers with sensitivity, while meeting scheduling needs including weekends

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year courier/driver experience with customer interaction preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company vehicles to perform first call transfers of deceased.
• Coordinates with first responders, coroners, hospital staff, and facilities.
• Enters transfer details into proprietary software.
• Transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes.
