Job summary

Sci Corp in WA is seeking a Transfer Specialist responsible for the care, removal, and transport of the deceased, coordinating with teams to maintain compliance, and ensuring dignity and professionalism when interacting with families.

You will drive company vehicles, perform first-call transfers, assist with caskets, and handle paperwork. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, plus ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• At least 1 year of courier/driver experience with direct customer interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company owned professional vehicles to perform “first call” transfer of deceased in accordance with laws and company policies.
• Cooperates with first responders, Coroner, hospital staff or Senior Living facility and accommodates their processes.
• Interacts with bereaved family members for home transfers while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
• Enters deceased event information into proprietary software according to company procedures.
• Transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes; assists with moving caskets.
