BayMark Health Services, Inc. seeks a compassionate Substance Use Counselor in Vallejo, CA to guide patients through medically assisted treatments and teach coping strategies for opioid use.

You will conduct individual and group sessions and collaborate with doctors, nurses and fellow counselors to improve outcomes. Requirements include CA Registered Counselor, experience with chemically dependent individuals preferred, and ability to support patients with non-judgmental attitude; must pass drug

Qualifikationen

• Registered Counselor in the State of California.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals preferred.
• Positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Aufgaben

• Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals; coordinate all services throughout treatment
• Completes Bio-psychosocial assessment.
• Facilitates, establishes and reviews with each patient the initial treatment plan
• Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans
• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor
