This part-time, seasonal role follows the school calendar with no nights or weekends required, and offers flexible hours to align with the school schedule. Responsibilities include safe operation, passenger assistance, and coordination with drivers.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a direct-care setting.
• Experience with early childhood or school-age development strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on timeliness and safety.
• Previous knowledge of wheelchair lifts and securement systems preferred.
• Effective communication skills
• Patience and understanding when working with people with a wide range of disabilities.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding client information.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and evacuation procedures
• Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors calmly and safely.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
