Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a Bus Aide to assist students with safe boarding, riding, and alighting on school routes. This role focuses on student safety, supports drivers, and adheres to all school district safety protocols during morning and afternoon shifts.

The position offers daytime hours (6:00 AM–5:00 PM split shifts), with two shifts per day and a 30–40 hour week, paying $16.00 per hour and weekly direct deposit payments.

Qualifications

• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, Child Abuse History Clearance and any required certifications per our School Districts High school or equivalent (Required)

Responsibilities

• Aides are required to sit in the back of the vehicle with students.
• Load and unload students as required.
• Assist students with special needs, including those in wheelchairs or with mobility challenges, in boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Follow designated routes and schedules for timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers and maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
